the art + the artist

hi, i’m isabella! i have been making jewelry for over ten years. i began stars on her mind in the summer of 2018 to share my art with a wider audience.

each piece is handcrafted with love and care in my apartment in washington dc or in my family’s cottage at the delaware beaches. i create my work to be delicate, simple, colorful, and natural, often incorporating my love of nature into my designs.

when i’m not creating, i work full-time as an environmental engineer. in my free time, i enjoy listening to music, going to the beach, eating noodles of any kind, and caring for my many house plants.

another thing i deeply care about is social and environmental justice, which is why a portion of all sales will go to organizations that i’m passionate about.
